There aren’t a lot of Caribbean cruises that go to St Barts but it’s well worth the journey.  For an island of only 8 square miles St. Barts may be small but it’s big on charm. From celebrity sightings to the island’s 14 beautiful beaches, luxurious yachts and tax free shopping there is no shortage of things to do here.

Start off the day with a visit to the beach restaurant O’Corail, located on Grand Cul de Sac Beach. Enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast while relaxing in the warm ocean breeze. After a deliciously cooked meal head next door to the Ouanalao Dive Center. Scuba dive, surf, kayak, snorkel or just swim and relax on the beach.

Shopping and Dining in St Barts

Once you have had your fill of the St Barts water, sand and sun head to Gustavia for lunch, shopping and maybe some celebrity sightings. Le Select is the epitome of “cheeseburger in paradise”. You may even run into Jimmy Buffet while you are there! He is just one of the celebrities known to frequent St. Barts. After lunch spend the afternoon strolling along the Quai de la République. This is right on the harbor and is said to rival London’s Bond Street and New York’s Madison Avenue.

For dinner head to Bonito where the ambience of the beach is combined with sophistication and culture. After dinner party the night away at The Yacht Club. You can enjoy music, drinks and the outdoor terrace until 2am.

No matter how you choose to spend your day while in St. Barts you will wish you had a dozen more.
