This castle has brilliant stone spiral staircases with impressive towers scattered among the beauty. The moat gives it a mysterious look that fortified it from dangers edge. This would be by far the best example of gothic flare. It was entwined with the culture that surrounded this area and the need for religious freedom that they all felt during this time period. This is where the most influential political figures lived and did their business. It was indeed a power center for this entire region along with the religious aspect of why it was created in the first place.
