You can start your day with a stroll through the Meissen Marketplace. It’s a great place to enjoy the delightful cuisine of this region. As you relax and get your day started you would be surrounded by Renaissance and late Gothic structures and the pastel painted homes of the town folk. The Home of Porcelain

After breakfast at the market you’d want to head down to the world renowned Meissen Porcelain Factory. The production of the porcelain goes back to the 18th century. Meissen is home of the best and highest quality porcelain that is produced outside of Asia. Take the tour and then head into their shops to do some shopping and bring some of the beautiful artistry home with you. You will find no other place that creates this type of white gold they are famous for.

Once you’ve enjoyed yourself at the Porcelain Factory, you’d then want to head over to their wine vineyards. Since the 12th century they’ve been creating amazing wines and besides the great vineyards they offer, they offer taverns and bistros to have a nice dinner and night cap to end your relaxing and wonderful day in Meissen.
