When it comes to vacationing on the high seas, it’s important to choose a cruise line that provides both modern elegance and great customer service. It needs to let everyone have the chance to escape from the stresses of everyday life. That is exactly what can be expected from Princess Cruises.

Princess Cruises first started back in 1965, using only one ship to travel through Mexico. Today, this cruise line is the third largest cruise line in the world. The biggest marketing boost for the cruise line happened in 1977, when one of its ships called “Pacific Princess” starred on the popular television show, “The Love Boat.” That weekly television appearance attracted a fan base of around a million people. That, along with its destinations and the memorable “sea witch” logo have made it a top cruising line ever since. Starting with just one ship, it has now grown to a fleet of 17 modern ships that been transporting nearly 1.3 million guests every year.

Princess caters to couples of all ages and families with young or teenage children. It is also well known for its wedding ceremonies. While its ships may be large, the overall “feel” is not. The top-notch customer service and activities give it a warm, small ship atmosphere that makes its guests feel like a part of the sailing family.

As of 2018, it’s the second largest cruise line by net revenue. It is a subsidiary of P&O Princess Cruises, and is currently under Holland America Group within Carnival Corporation and PLC, which holds executive control over the Princess Cruises brand. The brand has 18 ships cruising global itineraries serving both American and international passengers.

Princess Cruises Destinations

Princess Cruises or “Princess” would not be the great cruise line it is without having a wide variety of destinations that suit everyone’s tastes. Each destination is brimming with beauty and adventures galore. Destinations include Hawaii, Tahiti, and the South Pacific; Alaska and New England; the Caribbean; Mexico; South America; Australia and New Zealand; Asia, India, and Africa; Europe; and the Panama Canal. Princess also has very special options known as World Cruise Vacations. Choosing one of three ships, guests can choose a lengthy voyage to some of the most beautiful places on Earth. It’s an unforgettable experience that will be like discovering a whole new world.

Many choose to become a part of the Princess family over their competitors for several reasons. To start with, it provides a welcoming environment for its customers. It has won seven years in a row for “Best Cruise Line Itinerary.” With over 300 ports and 100 itineraries to choose from, guests can be sure to have a great time.

The environment of the ship allows for maximum relaxation too. The steward addresses the guests by name and there are various venues with elegant decor that are either exciting or intimate. The fresh and exquisite food is made with love by its talented chefs every day. The money spent for the voyage provides guests with great food, fabulous venues, and excellent health and wellness facilities. Lastly, these ships have been sailing for nearly 40 years, so it’s obvious that it has a winning formula for a great vacation.

Princess Cruises is an exceptional modern cruise line that transports guests to a variety of dream-like destinations. With the help of a great staff and an enjoyable atmosphere, guests can easily let go of stress and experience the best vacation ever.
